On a general note, people who can't tell the difference between the words BOUGHT and BROUGHT drive me nuts and I have to restrain myself from grabbing them by the shirt front and shaking them until they know the difference. (While this takes a remarkably short amount of time, it's sadly not a recoognised teaching technique)
